Functional De |
|||||
The insertion head assembly contains the tooling housing assemblies and index
Email:smt@smtsky.com,Website:
wheel assemblies. The insertion head function is actuated through the
span axis drive, the index cylinder and the insertion servo motor. The span
axis drive positions the housing assemblies to the desired insertion span.
When the index cylinder is actuated, the index wheel assemblies advance a
component under the insertion tooling. When the servo motor is actuated,
the tooling assemblies, located in the housing assemblies, are driven down.
As the tooling moves down, it cuts, forms, guides and inserts the component
through the board. | |||||
Maintenance Concept | |||||
